The guy who wrote this article is blowing stuff out his ass. He has no sources and is purely speculating. When Chris was set to be a restricted free agent a lot of people in the media in the U.S. were pulling this same shit. Their reasoning must be "Wow, this guy is good...Why would a good player want to play in Canada? Damn their low gun violence, low crime rate and socialize health system!"

can offer him more money and an extra year more than anyone else. The only way I see him not resigning is:
a.) The Raptors
totally screw him over some how
b.) The man blows his knee out or some other game changing injury, somebody else takes a chance a drops a big offer on the table and the Raptors
walk away from it.
