First of all, the dude from Real GM misspelled the name of the area. It's 'Flemingdon' Park, not 'Flemington' Park. Secondly, Magloire doesn't live in the area. Why would he live in one of the city's most run-down neighbourhoods?
Thirdly, if Bargnani
wouldn't have been the guy, it would have been Rudy Gay. They were the only 2 people out of the high draft selections who was given a clean bill of health - everyone else had some sort of injury that was red-flagged.
Lastly, no one knew Calderon
would have emerged the way he did. He was coming off an injury riddled rookie season where he showed flashes of brillance, but nothing near the kind of player he is today. The trade for Ford was essentially a good one. Charlie is a talent, but he needs to learn how to put up consistent efforts.
