the taliban only started dealing with poppies to fund their cause against 'the infidels'. they're actually against the use and distribution of opium. unfortunately, saying 'god willing' means they can be the worlds biggest hypocrites.

all taliban are insurgents, but not all insurgents are taliban. the longer theirs occupation in afghanistan, the more people will join the fight against foreign forces/occupation. same goes for iraq. afghan has been fucked since the history of time. it's forever been a passage way and the home of lawless nomads from it's bordering countries. leaving with an able police forces and army in place to take care of their own mess is a good enough time to leave. giving women access to education and rights is pretty swell as well.
