Uh, maybe that's because Jermaine was already in the East. So that trade doesn't make the East any stronger. The other fellows they mentioned came over from the West, you see, thus weakening that conference while improving the East.

than either Calvin Booth or Rodney Carney were for the Sixers.
And if all you care about is ESPN coverage, get used to hearing nothing about Canada. Welcome to the NHL's world. They've got an entire league that doesn't get mainstream media coverage down there, and theres 20+ teams in the States.
Any sites that provide nothing but quality basketball coverage (remember, ESPN is very much in the entertainment business) gave plenty of proper coverage to the JO deal.
