I wouldn't call Evans and Banks "assets". Chandler had a 13m expiry and Charlotte traded him for... cap relief (Dampier, whose contract isn't guaranteed). In other words, they didn't flip their "asset" into anything special, they just eliminated it. Banks and Evans won't get us anything special.

And 2 1st rounders and this guy named Marc Gasol, I heard he's pretty good... how can you forget the most important parts of the deal?

And? Everyone already knew that...
Having a TPE and cap room doesn't mean we'll be contenders in a few years like you claimed... We got a TPE because we lost
Bosh and we'll have cap room just like any other team in the league.

Man, god bless your soul. I know you want nothing best for this team, as do I, but I want you to be more realistic. You're just setting yourself up for disappointment. An over-paid, not top 20 NBA PG starter in
Calderon isn't going to get us a prospect on a rookie-scale contract. You've got to be kidding me...
Best case scenario, we'll get another Diaw-like-player on a shorter-term.
