The Gasol and Carter ones were the worst because they already knew the player was good. As opposed to say Kobe and Nash, who were mid first round draft picks yet to pan out.

You could also throw in Atlanta giving up the rights to Gasol as the #3 pick for an aging, battered Shareef-Abdur Raheem who would be useless within 3 years. Again if Atlanta would've kept Gasol, they would've sucked enough to get a top 5 pick in the 03 draft, and considering they would've already had a Euro center, they'd probably pick one of the wing players. Lebron/Gasol, Anthony/Gasol, Wade/Gasol... as opposed to missing the playoffs for 8 straight years. Billy King's masterpiece!
