TJ visibly sulked. Calderon
visibly sulked. The problem was not some kind of high-school social scene thing. The problem was gaining a stronger identity while going back and forth between two guys who both had ups and downs. The biggest problem was that when they both played well, it did not make a big enough difference in the way it had the previous season. So they need that extra ingredient for the benefit of either guy, as well as the rest of the team. They need to get away from being so dependent on Bosh
and the pgs. So go with either guy, trade the guy who gets the best return, and go from there.
I think that anyone who thinks that TJ leaving would be addition by subtraction is missing something. If they can't get something back for TJ that will make Jose's life easier on both ends of the court, it will be a long season. But of course they can also trade them both.
