I think the theory would work better with different personel. For example, Lebron + Mo Williams + Delonte West. They are all good ball handlers, good shooters but they also all bring toughness, defence, clutchness and defence(yes i said it twice). It works...

Comparing our three headed monster to that one is like Cerebrus vs Snoopy.

So in short I think the theory is sound, but you have to have the right tools.
