He's just starting to get going. Many forget that Calderon
starts his season usually ahead of everyone, playing for the Spanish National Team. So by the time the NBA season starts, he's going at top speed. This has caused him to be injured and worn out at the end of the season. So this year he took the time off and you could tell he's 'rusty'. I'd rather have him play inconsistently at the start of the season and getting better moving forward, than being tired and injured towards the latter part of the season. The team is also just starting to gel. He also has the hardest change to make in terms of his game due to the big group of new players coming in. Hopefully this is the start of better things for him.
