Dear Raps Fans,

How are you?

I think of myself as a fan as well. I try really hard not to miss a game, and I attend around 5-10 games a season at ACC.

I buy their gear, and even subscribe to Raptors.com's newsletter.

I like you guys, very passionate, very raw, but very passionate. We all jump on a bandwagon and we never come off, look at JYD, The Red Rocket, POPS? Once we love someone, we love em. And once we hate em, ohhh boy. T-Mac? VC? Mighty Mouse? Even A-Davis!

Anyway, I'm writing to you all, because you are starting to annoy the shit out of me. Because most of you don't even understand the basics of the NBA salary cap, but you dare to question the signing of the best player available in this year's Free Agency.

I know signing up in a Fantasy League is cool, and most of you do really well, but that doesn't make you a GM.

I'm not saying don't question the organization, we all know MLSE can be a bitch, but all I'm saying is, at one point or another, you gotta sit down, lay back and realize that you are JUST a fan and not a GM. You don't scout players, you don't know the rules, you don't know an agent, or 30, and you sure as hell don't have a multimillion dollar business in your hands. So all I'm saying is just wait a bit. Let the team play at least 5 games before dissing one of the most important things that ever happened to this team. We got a very very good player to come and play for us. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. It's a really good thing. Just for the image of our franchise.

We are the same team that allowed Shaq to fake an injury and sit out the game in Toronto and his team still beat us. Remember that?

We are the team that lost a whole bunch of talent to other teams because our own players didn't wanna play for us.

So all I'm asking you all is to just give the system a chance. BC has made mistakes, just like all the GMs in the NBA, but he has been one of the, if not the most successful Raptors GM of them all so far (at least Bosh has yet to quit on us). So just wait. If it doesn't work out, I'll personally join you on the "Fire BC Bandwagon", but for now, have some faith. Let's cross that bridge once we actually get to it, OK?

Look at the past week, we went from "maybe playoffs" to "maybe second round". Now maybe D-Wade would wanna play in Toronto!
