Default Have We Seen The End Of Jack Armstrong?

It would seem as though with Sportsnet dropping basketball from their schedule next season that fan favourite Jack Armstrong will likely have to find a new gig somewhere else.

Quick someone, start a damn petition and have him as Chuck's sidekick for all 82 games instead of Leo. With Jack possibly leaving our commentary team this takes a severe blow next season for us the listeners.

Whats ahead? With news that Sportsnet is getting out of basketball I guess well be subjected to more and more replays of old poker games Jacks future is a bit cloudy.

I dont know how many of the poohbahs at Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment read this I hope its every single one but they should know that every single fan I talk to has nothing but praise for the raspy-voiced New Yorker.

Im sure there will be all kinds of networks and teams looking at Jack this summer he already has an extensive list of clients but I know he loves it here, hes part of the basketball fabric and the Raptors must find a way to keep him as heavily involved, or more heavily involved than he is right now.

A so-so seaosn has alienated a few fans already, losing Jack pushes a few more off the cliff.
