why?
SA, PHX, Houston and Detroit rarely go over the tax and they do fine
you should be happy they make money b/c it means they'll say in Toronto
MLSE will go over the tax once they see a contending team, b/c they'll get some playoff money in return
there is no reason to pay tax for the hell of it, like you have seen the Knicks do for years
I rather have a healthy franchise than one with red ink (then we would sell all off our players, like what Milwaukee and others are doing)
