Problem is if we don't sign Marion than Bosh
is sure to walk. Personally i think alot of Marions game is predicated on his extremely high basketball IQ and for that reason he will retain his value. Even if you have to sign him for 9-10 mill, you will have no problem trading him next season. At that price he has value in a trade and you preserve his capspace to boot.
If Colangelo doesn't get him signed or alternately signed and traded, we will not have enough cap space to build a reasonable contender next year. If that were the case i know what i would do. Trade Chris and start your rebuild with some youth while he still has max value. Colangelo will have some major franchise altering decisions in the next month or two.
