wow, i remember saying the Celts would be complete idiots to let Rondo go, but if they ever got away with this trade they would have looked like geniuses.

we all know Rondo is > stuckey, but at the same time stuckey is no slouch either and is very capable of being the better (passing) PG than Rondo. Rondo is turning into a star, we all can see that, however, Rondo has the potential of turning into a one-man show and neglecting his teamates.
Stuckey would be a super PG on a deep squad, and wouldnt be asked to do too much.

The deal breaker would have been Rip and Prince for Allen.
lets look at that for a second. Allen is broken, he's slowing down at what looks to be an alarming rate. if you could somehow get Rip AND Tayshaun for him that would be phenominal.
I dont blame Detroit for passing on this, they would have been shafted.
