I've been working out for years. Back in '97 to '99 I training really hard. Put on close to 70 pounds in about a year and half.
Bench, my max was 365 lbs for one rep. Squats my max for one rep (arse to the ground ... none of this half assing squats) was 485 lbs. Military press for the shoulders I used to be able to do reps with 185 lbs for about 8 to 10 reps.
Now, my strength has dropped significantly, but I still do reps of 12 to 15 on the bench of 225 lbs. As I get older I don't care as much about how much I can lift, but more lighter weight for higher reps to help lean up abit.
