Big decisions await the Raptors
as they play out the string on a season gone completely awry. There is no bigger question than the ongoing need to acquire a big, a franchise-elusive piece that was somewhat addressed with the presence of Jermaine O'Neal until the six-time all-star was dealt to the Miami Heat last month. What Samuel Dalembert brings to the table is precisely what the Raptors
need, a legitimate big who will defend and rebound, block shots and at the very least alter heaves. There has been absolutely no link between Dalembert and the Raptors, but it's no secret the Seton Hall product asked to be traded earlier this season when he wasn't getting consistent minutes. The Sixers, turns out, tried in vain to ship out Dalembert prior to Feb. 19 trade deadline.
