Default Kobe: Deron Should Have Been All-Star

Nice of Kobe to say I guess but it'll likely happen next year for Deron. Just a shame he has another couple PG's in the West he falls behind in Nash and Paul. Its only a matter of another couple years before Nash loses a step and Deron takes over the reigns with Chris Paul as the premier point guards in the West Conference and even possibly the NBA.

Maybe believed that Williams would replace Bryant if the NBA had allowed him to sit out the game.

"I think it was a really dumb rule," Bryant said. "I would have loved to see [Williams] in there playing and doing his thing. He's a deserving All-Star, without question. It's a stupid rule."
