Head coach Jay Triano is leaving Calderon's return completely in the hands of the Raptors training staff.

"Jose wants to play but the training staff is going to do what they do," Triano said. "That's their job. They don't tell me how to coach and I'm not going to tell them what to do. I want Jose Calderon fit and healthy for the rest of the year and if that means another day or two, then that's what it will be. I will let the professionals do their jobs."

O'Neal less likely

Jermaine O'Neal has been working out the past two days but remains questionable for this afternoon's game at the Air Canada Centre.

"He's getting better but it's going to be a conditioning thing as well," Triano said. "He worked out yesterday and he's working out now. The swelling we have been able to control."

O'Neal has missed the past six games with a right knee bruise.
