How NBA players view this year’s rookies

I found an interesting piece on Sports Illustrated.com that has players in the NBA ranking which rookie will have the biggest impact on their team and also which rookie will have the best career in the NBA. While I am biased, I think Bargnani got the short end of the stick on this one (and maybe even Garbajosa to a certain extent).

It appears that when you come from overseas and you’re playing in Toronto, that’s a double-whammy as far as NBA players are concerned. Could that be a lack of respect for the international game or is it their honest evaluation of rookie talent? Who knows. But I sure hope it isn’t because of the double whammy, because last time I checked, the NBA players didn’t do so well against international competition.

Let me know what you think. Click here to check it out. I think it’s bogus.

wow, last nights game was insane. Calderone with another block? But this one a game-saver right after he puts them in to the lead! Has the world gone mad…Jose, the sultan of swat?!? And to steal a swirskyism, oh my Bosh. While on one hand the first 3/4 of the game were abysmal for the Raps that comeback showed heart and team spirit. Encouraging to see they have that fortitude.

Yep, the comeback was nice to see. Some guts! But if I see Jose come up with another big block against the Celtics, I’m going to lock myself in the basement and get ready for armageddon.
